Air Force Drops Friday Match At San Diego State

SAN DIEGO, Calif. - The Air Force women's soccer team dropped a 7-0 Mountain West Conference match at San Diego State Friday afternoon at the SDSU Sports Deck. The loss dropped the Falcons to 3-11, 0-4 while the Aztecs improved to 5-8-2, 1-3.
Cat Walker recorded a hat trick with three goals to lead SDSU while goalkeeper Christi Yount recorded the shutout with four saves.
San Diego State scored two goals in the first period then exploded for five goals in the second half--all coming within a 16 minute span.
Air Force had six shots on the day. Senior Roni Yadlin led the way with two shots. Meagan Eissele, Ashley Sikora and Kalyn Tung also recorded shots.
The Falcons return to action Sunday, Oct. 19, at UNLV.
