Falcons Top CSU-Pueblo In Exhibition Match

USAF ACADEMY, Colo. - The Air Force women's soccer team defeated CSU-Pueblo 3-0 in a preseason exhibition match Tuesday afternoon at the Cadet Soccer Stadium.
The Falcons scored on goals by freshman Bridgett Murphy, senior Rachael Emory and junior Susan Finch. Murphy also assisted on Emory's goal and Emory assisted on Finch's score.
"We did a pretty good job throughout the match," head coach Marty Buckley said. "We had a chance to see all our players in action and begin to find out what he have. We still have a lot to work on, but it was a good effort by our players and we're progressing in a positive manner."
Air Force has a final tune up this Friday, Aug. 22, hosting Metro State in its last exhibition match. The Falcons open the regular season this Sunday, Aug. 24 at Northern Colorado.
