COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - Air Force sophomore running back Asher Clark was named Co-Mountain West Conference Football Offensive Player of the Week for his performance in the Falcons' 45-17 win over UNLV on Nov. 14. It is Clark's first MWC Player of the Week honor. He shared the honor with Wyoming quarterback Austyn Carta-Samuels.
In addition to Clark and Carta-Samuels, Tank Carder (TCU) earned Defensive Player of the Week and Ian Watts (Wyoming) earned Special Teams Player of the Week honors.
Clark carried the ball 18 times and rushed for career-highs of 160 yards and three touchdowns in Air Force's 45-17 win over UNLV. He averaged 8.9 yards per carry and scored on touchdown runs of 24, two and a season-long 40 yards. Eight of Clark's rushing attempts went for first downs in the game.
