The Air Force women's tennis team blanked Wofford, 7-0, Saturday in Birmingham, Ala., to improve to 13-2 this season. The Falcons swept all nine matches and won all six singles matches in straight sets.
The Falcons, winners of six straight matches, are off to their best start since moving from Division II to Division I in 1996. They also have more wins than in any season since the 1993-94 campaign, when they finished with 13.
Individually, junior Sarah Cassman posted her 20th singles win of the season, marking her third straight 20-win campaign.
The Falcons look for their seventh straight victory on Sunday against Samford.
