In air rifle, Chandler led the team with 589 points. Junior Pat Everson followed with 582 points. Juniors Mike Seery and Kyle Phillips both finished as each scored 578 points rounding out the four-man squad. Junior Robert Vasquez had 573 points.
In smallbore, Chandler led the squad with 584 points, Everson had 569 points and Seery and Phillips finished with 567 and 563 points, respectively. Sophomore Ben York finished with 556 points.
"Tom Chandler is leading the team with consistency and doing what it takes to make it to the nationals," said head coach Launi Meili. "We certainly have the talent to shoot the scores to get the team to nationals, but we are falling short when it comes to the real match. We'll be working on getting our match scores more consistent with what's accomplished in practice. Once that is established, we'll be back on track to contend for a team slot at nationals."
Also competing in air rifle were freshmen Alexis Todaro (572), Stormy Sagmoen (560), sophomores York (572) and Matt Kluckman (569). In smallbore, it was Todaro (562), Kluckman (561), freshmen Josh Daviscourt (550) and Sagmoen (548).
On Jan. 22, the Falcons will host their final home meet of the season with the University of Nebraska.
