Wallerstein named academic all-district

Air Force senior offensive lineman A.J. Wallerstein has been named to the District VII College Sports Information Directors of American academic all-district team. Wallerstein will appear on the nation ballot for Academic All-American honors which will be announced next month.
A native of Canyon Country, Calif., Wallerstein has a 3.47 grade point average and is a double major in Physics and Mathematical Sciences. He has also been honored this season as a nominee for the American Football Coaches Association Good Works team, a semifinalist for the Campbell Trophy as the college football's top student-athlete and as a mid-season first-team all-Mountain West Conference selection.
Wallerstein has helped the Falcons rank among the nation's best in rushing offense this season with a 310 yard per-game average. In addition, he helped the Falcons win a record 18th Commander-in-Chief's Trophy with wins over Army and Navy.
