PROVO, Utah - Because of outfield conditions, the third game of the Air Force-BYU baseball series at Larry H. Miller Field was cancelled.
Officials delayed the start of the game for an hour and 15 minutes before making the final decision. Details are pending the makeup of the cancelled game, but Mountain West Conference rules make it a doubleheader on the next available date when the two teams close out the regular season at the Air Force Academy the end of May.
Air Force, now 12-19, 0-7, returns to action Tuesday at Northern Colorado.
