The Air Force golf team completed the first round of the 2012 Brickyard Collegiate Championships in Macon, Ga., Friday morning at the par-72, 7,128-yard Brickyard at Riverside Golf Course. The Falcons are in 15th place after shooting a first-round total of 312.
Individually, junior Kyle Westmoreland leads the team and is tied for 24th overall after firing a one-over par 73 on Friday. Juniors Jack Howard and Philip Colwell are tied for 67th after each shooting a 78 on Friday, while senior Andrew Hoops is tied for 81st with an opening round 83 and junior Todd Berglund is 84th with an 86.
The second round begins on Saturday morning at 8:30 a.m. (ET).
