Air Force (6-8-1, 3-4-1 MW) was unable to score as UNLV improved to 8-7-1, 3-5 MW.
UNLV scored its first goal in the 15th minute off a free kick by Kristin Sankey. The Rebels scored an insurance goal in the 73rd, as Dakota Blazak scored on a loose ball from 10 yards out.
Air Force had 14 shots in the match. Freshman Megan Schulze led the way with three shots. Freshman Brooke Rittman, sophomore Alison Skidmore and junior Katie Case had shots on goal for AFA.
Freshman Alex Kahalley had 12 saves in goal for the Falcons. That total is the sixth-most ever in a game by an Air Force goalkeeper.
Air Force returns to action Friday, Oct. 24, hosting Fresno State in its final home match of the season.
