Boxing's Match with Navy Cancelled

USAF ACADEMY, Colo. - The Air Force boxing team's showdown with Navy that was originally scheduled for tonight (Oct. 3) has been cancelled due to travel issues for the Midshipmen.

Navy's flight into Colorado was delayed in Houston last night and the team has since returned to Annapolis. This is the second straight year that the two programs haven't met during the week of the Air Force-Navy football game, as last year's event was halted by the government shutdown.

The Falcons return to action on Friday, Oct. 24, when it faces its counterparts from Army and Navy at the annual Service Academy Classic in Detroit.
