Katie Case Named First-Team Academic All-District

Air Force junior midfielder Katie Case was named to the Capital One Academic All-District women's soccer team, released recently by the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA). Case earned first-team District VII honors for Division I programs and will now be placed on the Academic All-America ballot.
Case, from Waimea, Hawaii, currently maintains a 3.78 grade-point average and is majoring in environmental engineering with a minor in Japanese. She has appeared in all 17 of AFA's games this season and is sixth on team in scoring with three points (one goal, one assist).
The Falcons, 7-9-1 overall and 4-5-1 in the Mountain West, travel to Colorado College tomorrow, Oct. 31.
