Tucker Axhoj Named First-Team Academic All-District

Air Force sophomore defender Tucker Axhoj was named to the Capital One Academic All-District men's soccer team, released recently by the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA). Axhoj earned first-team District VII honors for Division I programs and will now be placed on the Academic All-America ballot.
Axhoj, from Waxhaw, N.C., currently maintains a 3.73 grade-point average and is majoring in systems engineering computer science. He has appeared in all 15 of AFA's games this season and is tied for third on the team with two assists.
The Falcons, 6-5-4 overall and 2-4-1 in the Western Athletic Conference, travel to UMKC this weekend, Nov. 1.
