Rifle team ranked sixth in CRCA

U.S. Air Force Academy, Colo. - Following a win against Nebraska last Saturday, the Air Force rifle team moved up to sixth place in the College Rifle Coaches Association Poll rankings (CRCA). West Virginia is still the No. 1 pick in the CRCA Poll as of Oct. 6. Nebraska, who was ranked fourth last week, dropped to No. 9.
USA Shooting: Thursday, Oct. 9, USA Shooting celebrates its 10.9 Day as a prelude to the Championships of the Americas (CAT) games in Guadalajara, Mexico. Air Force cadets Meredith Carpentier and David Higgins will be competing in the CAT games. The CATs occur every four years and is one of the four major international matches during the quadrennial (Olympics, World Championships, Pan American Games, and the CAT).
