Houston Baptist (3-11-2, 2-8-0) scored in the 44th minute to take a 1-0 lead. Stefan Lamanna scored off a pass from Marc-Anthone.
Air Force tied the match up in the 65th minute on a goal by senior Zachary Modly. Modly scored the goal off a successful penalty kick.
The tie did not last, as HBU scored the game-winning goal in the 86th minute. Miguel Zapata scored off a pass from Patrick Toh.
Air Force held the shot advantage 23-15. Sophomore Jake Schenk started in goal, making three saves in 45 minutes of play. Freshman John Wendt played the second half in goal, recording one save.
Air Force was eliminated from WAC tournament contention when Bakersfield tied Seattle U 0-0. Bakersfield finished with 11 points to Air Force's 10, to qualify for the final slot in the tournament.
