The Falcons scored two minutes and 21 seconds into the match to take the early lead. Senior Scott McGillivray scored his first goal the season, taking a pass from Zachary Modly and firing a rocket from 18 yards out to the lower right post for the score.
Air Force put the match away with a goal in the 79th by junior Gus Jensen. The play started with a midfield pass from Trey Pujats down the left sideline to Tucker Axhoj. Axhoj then sent a perfect cross into the box, where Jensen connected on a one-timer to the left post from 15 yards.
"I was happy with the result, but we need to do a better job of taking care of the ball," head coach Doug Hill said. "We gave New Hampshire too many free kicks, which played to their strengths. If you maintain the ball, this does not happen. The key is to keep improving and play better within our system of play."
New Hampshire held the advantage in shots 18-13 with the teams splitting the corner kicks 3-3.
Sophomore goalkeeper Jake Schenk recorded his second straight shutout, notching seven saves.
Air Force returns to action Sunday, hosting Oakland. Kickoff is 11 a.m.
