Falcons in 11th After First Day of Ram Masters

FORT COLLINS, Colo. - The Air Force golf team sits in 11th after two rounds of action at the Colorado State Ram Masters Invitational on Monday, Sept. 15, in Fort Collins. Following an opening round of score 302 and a second round tally of 294, the Falcons finished the day with a 36-over par total of 596.
Sophomore Sunwoo Choi is the Falcons' leader after the first day of action at the Fort Collins Country Club, as he is tied for eighth with a three-over par score of 143. Choi's best round of the day came in the second, as he hit a one-under par 69.
Classmate Brenden Bone is also listed within the top half of the field, as he is tied for 42nd (nine-over 149) after hitting a 75 in the first round and a 74 in the second. Freshman J.D. Kiesewetter recorded a 75 and 77 to tie for 56th with a 12-over 152, while senior Blake Edwards (78, 76) is tied for 58th with a 14-over 154. Hitting an 80 in the opening round and a 75 in the second, freshman Dane Hankamer is just one stroke back, as he is tied for 63rd with a 15-over par total of 155.
Freshman Todd Millard, competing as an individual, is currently tied for 68th with a 17-over 157.
Tournament host Colorado State leads the tournament with a 10-over par total of 570, while Wyoming's Drew McCullough is the individual leader with a two-under 138.
The third and final round is slated to begin tomorrow (Sept. 16) at 7:30 a.m.
