Best Start Since 1997
A year after starting out 0-8, Air Force is currently unbeaten through seven matches to start 2014, posting a 4-0-3 record. It is Air Force's best start since 1997, when the Falcons went 8-0 to start the season. Missouri State was the team that snapped the 1997 team's 8-0 start.
Falcons Receiving Top 25 Votes
Air Force received 21 votes in the NSCAA/Continental Tire NCAA Division I Men's Top 25 polls released Sept. 23, ranking just one spot outside the top 25.
Falcons #1 In NSCAA West Rankings
Air Force is currently ranked #1 in latest NSCAA West Region rankings (for Sept. 23). The Falcons have surpassed #2 Denver and #3 Seattle U in the past two weeks. Four WAC teams are amongst the top five teams in the West.
Last Weekend
The Falcons remained unbeaten by tying UC Davis 1-1 and beating Sacramento State 1-0 last weekend. A goal by Ryan Ward in the 44th minute rallied the Falcons to the tie at UC Davis. Zach Hill's goal in the 85th minute lifted AFA to the win at Sacramento State.
