Weekly football luncheon at new site this week

The weekly home game football luncheon will be taking its tradition on the road this week with a special off-campus luncheon in downtown Colorado Springs on Friday, Sept. 26, at Jack Quinn's. Doors for the pep rally style event open at 11 a.m. Tickets are available for just $12 and will include meal, soft drinks and dessert, along with registration for door prizes and contests. Space is limited so fans are encouraged to arrive early and listen to KVOR's Jim Arthur and Air Force head coach Troy Calhoun breakdown the game against Boise State on Saturday at 5 p.m. in Falcon Stadium. This week's menu includes: Tossed green salad with honey balsamic or ranch dressing, bread basket with Irish soda and baguette breads, shepherd's pie, chicken penne pasta tossed in an Alfredo sauce and freshly baked cookies.
