Air Force Drops 1-0 Match At Missouri State

Sept. 27, 2014 SPRINGFIELD, Mo. - Air Force men's soccer dropped its first match of the season, 1-0, at Missouri State Saturday night at Betty & Bobby Allison South Stadium. Missouri State scored the game-winning goal in the 79th minute.
Robbie Oslica scored the lone goal of the match at the 78.57 mark to drop Air Force to 4-1-3 on the season and lift the Bears to a 4-2-2 mark.
The match was a defensive battle as the two teams combined for just 16 shots, four on goal.
Senior Zachary Modly led the Falcons with three shots, one on goal. Sophomore Jake Schenk had two saves in the loss at goalkeeper.
Air Force returns to action next Saturday, Oct. 4, hosting UMKC in its Western Athletic Conference opener.
