Air Force Rifle Goes 1-1 in Season Opener

U.S. Air Force Academy, Colo. - Air Force rifle squad went 1-1 in a match between the Falcons, Nebraska and West Virginia for the rifle season opener.
In small bore, the Air Force shooters scored 2322 points and in air rifle, they finished with 2358 points for a team total of 4680 points.
Nebraska finished with 4662 team points and West Virginia was the match winner with 4705 points.
David Higgins had the team high score with 588 in small bore, scoring 200 points in the prone. In air rifle, Ryan Jacobs and Tyler Rico tied for the team high at 592 points each.
Air Force rifle continues action on Friday, Oct. 16, against Ohio State and on Sunday, Oct.18, in Fairbanks, Alaska
