Air Force Drops 2-1 Contest at Boise State

Brooke Heideman's goal in the 71st was the game-winner for Boise State.
It was a tough loss for the Falcons, who had rallied to tie the match after an early second-half goal by the Broncos.
After a scoreless first half of play, Boise State scored in the 46th minute as Hannah Smith netted the goal. Air Force tied it up in the 50th minute, as junior Meredith Reisinger scored on a loose ball after a free kick.
The Falcons had 12 shots on the day, four on goal. Senior Ally Swift and sophomore Angela Karamanos had three shots each. Freshman Jennifer Hiddink had two saves in goal for the Falcons.
Air Force returns to action Friday, Oct. 23, hosting San Diego State.
