Air Force Finishes 13th in Fall Finale

EL PASO, Texas – The Air Force golf team closed out the fall season with a 13th-place finish at Price's Give'Em Five Invitational in El Paso, Texas, on Sunday, Oct. 25. The Falcons recorded a nine-over par round of 297 this afternoon to finish the three-day tournament at Butterfield Trail Golf Club with a 15-over par total of 879 (286-296-297).
Junior Brenden Bone was the team's top finisher for the third straight tournament. Matching his best round of the weekend (two-under 70), Bone moved up 10 places on Sunday to finish tied for 32nd with a one-under total of 215 (70-75-70).
Sophomore J.D. Kiesewetter shot a four-over 76 on the final 18 to tie for 52nd in his first tournament of the season, carding a combined, four-over total of 220 (69-75-76). Classmate Sutton Farmer tied for 60th with a six-over total of 222 (75-72-75), while junior Sunwoo Choi finished just one stroke back, tying for 64th with a seven-over total of 223 (72-75-76). Freshman Bryant Falconello rounded out the Falcons' lineup, as he finished in a tie for 76th with an 11-over total of 227 (76-74-77).
Sophomore Dane Hankamer, competing as an individual this weekend, posted a two-over score of 74 on the final 18 holes to tie for 60th with a six-over par total of 222 (75-73-74).
Kansas won the team title with a 38-under total of 826, while UMKC's Antoine Rozner repeated as the tournament's individual medalist with a 19-under and tournament-record total of 197.
With the fall complete, the Falcons are off from competition until 2016 when the spring season begins.
