Roberts and Strebel earn Mountain West Weekly Honors

Air Force senior quarterback Karson Roberts and sophomore kicker Luke Strebel garnered Mountain West Offensive and Special Teams Players of the Week, respectively. It is the second MW weekly honor for Roberts and first for Strebel.
OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Karson Roberts, AIR FORCE
Senior, Quarterback, Houston, Texas / Clear Lake HS
- Hit 9-16 passes for a career-high 279 yards and tied his career high with two touchdown passes in Air Force's 37-30 road victory at Boise State. He also rushed for 66 yards and a touchdown on 16 carries.
- The nine completions and 16 passing attempts are second-most in his career.
- Three of his completions were over 50 yards, and he averaged 31 yards per completion.
- His one-yard touchdown run at the beginning of the second quarter cut the Boise State lead to three points, 13-10.
- The 67-yard touchdown pass to Jalen Robinette midway through the second quarter gave the Falcons a 17-13 lead and completed a comeback that saw the Falcons trail 10-0 just 1:20 into the game.
SPECIAL TEAMS PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Luke Strebel, AIR FORCE
Sophomore, Kicker, Nashville, Tennessee / Father Ryan HS
- Was perfect on the day, hitting all four extra point attempts and a career-high three field goals in Air Force's 37-30 victory at Boise State.
- Connected on field goals from 18, 32 and 45 yards. The 45-yard field goal is the second-longest of his career and sealed the game for Air Force, as the kick extended its lead to two possessions with 2:11 remaining.
