Air Force's Tyler Rico and Meredith Carpentier named All-American
U.S. Air Force Academy, Colo. - March 14, 2015 - Two Falcons earned College Rifle Coaches Association (CRCA) and National Rifle Association (NRA) All-America awards.
Junior Tyler Rico, was named to the CRCA Second Team and to the NRA Air Rifle First Team and Smallbore Second Team. Rico owns four All-America honors for his career.
Senior Meredith Carpentier was named CRCA honorable mention and was named to the NRA Air Rifle Second Team. Carpentier will graduate in May with six All-America honors.
Air Force earned eighth place in smallbore (2282) on March 13 and returned March 14 to place fifth in the air rifle (2360). In the final team scoring, Air Force placed seventh with 4642 points.
