Pearson earns athletic achievement award

Senior quarterback Kale Pearson earned the athletic achievement award today as the Cadet Awards Ceremony at the Academy. Pearson returned from a season-ending knee injury last year to lead the Falcons to a 10-3 overall record. Pearson completed 59 percent of his passes for 1,590 yards and 14 touchdowns. His 14 TD passes tie as the most in the option era at Air Force while his 1,590 yards is the fifth most all-time. Pearson had a 160.68 quarterback efficiency rating for the season which is the third-best in school history. He also rushed for 687 yards and six touchdowns which was second on the team.
