Wing Open Championships Moved to March 9

USAF ACADEMY, Colo. – Air Force boxing coach Blake Baldi recently announced that the dates of the annual Wing Open Tournament have changed, with the championship round now scheduled for Wednesday, March 9. In addition, the postseason schedule for the National Collegiate Boxing Association (NCBA) tournament has been altered.
The Wing Open tournament will now begin with the quarterfinals on Friday, Feb. 26, while the semifinals will take place on Thursday, March 3. Both early rounds will take place in the Cadet Gym Boxing Room and are scheduled to begin at 4:30 p.m. The Wing Open Championships, which will be held under the lights in Clune Arena, is now slated for 6:00 p.m., on Wednesday, March 9.
The NCBA Western Regional Championships will now take place on March 24-26 in Reno, Nev., while the NCBA National Championships will run from April 7-9 in Seattle, Wash.
