U.S. AIR FORCE ACADEMY, Colo. - The Air Force golf team placed 15th at the inaugural Paintbrush Invitational, hosted by the University of Denver, Oct. 11-12, in Parker, Colo. The Falcons shot a 928 (+58) during the two-day, 54-hole tournament.
Oklahoma State won the meet with a team score of 850 (-14). Colorado was second with 859 while Texas Tech was third with 861.
Air Force senior Sunwoo Choi and junior Dane Hankamer were the Falcons' highest finishers, tying for 59th with a three-round total of 229 (13 over par).
The Falcons close out the fall portion of its schedule at the Price Give Em' 5 Invitational, Oct. 28-30, in El Paso, Texas.
