Groesbeck Named MW Baseball Player of the Week

Air Force junior outfielder Adam Groesbeck earned Mountain West Baseball Player of the Week honors for games played Feb. 19-21. It was the junior's first weekly conference honor.
Groesbeck helped lead Air Force to a 3-0 weekend, batting .667 (8-for-12) with six runs scored, to go with a double and two triples and four steals. The junior reached base five times in Air Force's 13-0 win over Buffalo, going 2-for-2 at the plate with three runs scored and three stolen bases. Groesbeck collect three hits in both wins against Marist and Davidson. The Turlock, Calif., native recorded seven putouts in the field as well.
Joining Groesbeck for weekly honors was Fresno State's Anthony Arias, who earned MW Pitcher of the Week.
