NAU downs Air Force in men's tennis

Northern Arizona defeated Air Force, 4-3, Saturday night in a non-conference men's tennis match at the Aquatic and Tennis Complex in Flagstaff, Ariz.
NAU opened the match by winning the doubles point behind wins at No. 2 and 3. Isaac Perez got the Falcons on the board with a win at No. 5 singles, beating Ruben Montano, 6-4, 7-6 (3). Luke Sanderson beat Jackson Lee, 3-6, 6-2, 6-3 at No. 6 singles. Jack McCullers gave the Falcons their third point with a 6-2, 1-6, 6-4 victory over Eden Peleg at No. 3 singles.
The loss drops the Falcons to 4-5 on the season. The team closes out a two-game road trip to Arizona with a match at Grand Canyon Sunday, Feb. 28, at 10 a.m. PT.
