Air Force men's tennis completed day two at the 2026 Credit Union 1 MW Individual Championships presented by Palms Casino Resort, on Wednesday at the Darling Tennis Center in Las Vegas, Nevada.
In extra match play, the Falcons came away with two wins on the day. Sebastian Mazur won his singles match over Roberto Hernandez of UNLV 3-6, 6-3, 10-3. Air Force also picked up a win in doubles. The pair of Mazur and Kai Stolaruk defeated Ibrahim Snoussi/Gregoire Valente of Nevada 6-2.
Jaden Woller-Li, Daniel Tonkal and Stolaruk also competed in singles matches against Nevada. Tonkal and Woller-Li also dropped a doubles match to Nicolas Recoura/Sebastiano Cressi or Nevada, 6-3.
Head coach Evan Urbina recapping the championships:
"This was a tough tournament with the top players from the conference in attendance. It's important for us to see that level. It helps us find areas to work on in practice. As a group, we need to continue to improve our serving in the pressure moments. It was good to see Seb and Kai get a solid doubles win, and Seb was able to work his way into playing well in his second singles match. We look forward to competing in our last event at the end of the month in Denver!"
Air Force returns to action Oct. 30-Nov. 1 at the Colorado Cup, hosted by Denver University.
