Air Force athletics sports camps begins third week

Air Force athletics sports camps enter its third week today with its commuter's week. This is the third week of camps and over 3,400 campers have attended 30 different camps during the three-week period. There were 14 camps the first week, 19 the second and seven this week with more than 10 specialty camps.
Camps have featured youngsters from all 50 states and six different counties. Each Air Force intercollegiate sports head coach runs their camp and boarder campers get to stay in actual dorm rooms on campus. There are 84 cadets and 16 civilians in charge of the dorms during the first two weeks of camp which saw 900 campers staying in the dorms each week. This year's cadet cadre was led by senior-to-be football player Haji Dunn, Jr., an all-conference-type performer on the field.
