U.S. AIR FORCE ACADEMY, Colo. – Air Force Athletics' 10th annual "A Night of Excellence", hosted Friday, April 24 at the East Club presented by L3Harris at the Kucera Legacy Center, raised over $400,000 in support of the Academy's 1,000 cadet-athletes.
The highest grossing "A Night of Excellence" to date, all event proceeds will directly benefit the Falcon Athletic Fund, benefiting cadet-athlete nutrition, leadership development, and other Margin of Excellence initiatives.
Some of the evening's featured auction items included a Paul Skenes custom-signed Team USA jersey, a private stay in a 14-person rental home in Puerto Rico, a suite at Ball Arena, Air Force Athletics experiences, once-in-a-lifetime excursions, food and beverage packages, and over 100 silent auction items.
"Over the course of the last 10 years, Air Force Athletics has generated $2.7 million of philanthropic support through our annual 'A Night of Excellence,'" said Dr. Matt McGahey, Senior Associate Athletic Director of External Operations. "Our 10th annual event was the highest revenue generating gala yet. We would like to thank the 400+ donors, corporate partners, season ticket holders and community leaders who joined us in support of our cadet-athletes, as well as those who participated virtually."
Photos of the evening can be viewed here, along with a video of the event here.
