Air Force Drops MW Opener At San Diego State

Air Force women's soccer dropped a 2-0 contest at San Diego State (3-5, 1-0) in Mountain West action Friday night at the SDSU Sports Deck. The Falcons are now 4-3-1, 0-1 on the season.

Aliyah Utush scored both goals for San Diego State. Utush scored in the 4th and 58th minutes. Victoria Barba assisted on the first score and Ariana Robles and Gabby English assisted on the second.

The Falcons were held to four shots on the night, one on goal. Senior Kaitlyn Ennis led the way with two shots. Juniors Angela Karamanos and Brooke Rittmann added an attempt each.

Sophomore Jennifer Hiddink recorded four saves in goal for Air Force.

Air Force returns to action Sunday, Sept. 25, at New Mexico. Kickoff is 1 pm MT.
