Final results

U.S. AIR FORCE ACADEMY, Colo. - The Air Force golf team placed eighth at the third annual Southern Dunes Invitational, hosted by the University of Wyoming, Saturday-Sunday, Oct. 14-15, at the Ak-Chin Southern Dunes Golf Club in Maricopa, Ariz.

After an opening round 303, the Falcons shot 294 and 291 in the final two rounds for a 54-hole team score of 888 (+24). The 219 in the final round tied as the Falcons' fifth best round of the season.

A trio of juniors led the Falcons. Tate Tatom tied for 15^th overall with a three-over 219. Tatom shot a one-under 71 in the final round. Bryant Falconello tied for 18^th with a four-over 220. Falconello shot a 71 in the final round. Andy Germann tied for 25^th with a three-round total of 229. His 70 in round two was his best round of the season.

The Falcons are back in action Oct. 20-22 at the annual Price's Give 'Em 5 Tournament in El Paso, Texas.
