Hockey Tickets for Troops Campaign
3/21/2017 12:00:00 AM | General
For the sixth time in school history the Falcon Hockey team is headed to the NCAA Tournament!
Air Force Athletics would like to announce a special Tickets For Troops Campaign to help send servicemen and women to watch the Falcons in NCAA Regional in Providence, R.I.
The Tickets For Troops program depends on generous donors (individuals, groups and corporations) to provide resources so that most deserving servicemen and women receive tickets for free to attend the game. Recipients of the tickets are chosen by installation commanders, chief master sergeants, first sergeants or their equivalents.
The goal of this campaign is to raise $10,000, which will send approximately 100 servicemen and women to the game. Any additional contributions above and beyond the cost of the Tickets For Troops Campaign will be reinvested directly into Air Force Academy athletics programs in support of our amazing cadet-athletes.
The Falcons will meet Western Michigan on Friday, March 24, in the NCAA East Regional at the Dunkin' Donuts Center in Providence, R.I. Face off is set for 5:30 p.m. MT (7:30 pm ET) and will be televised live on ESPN3/Watch ESPN.
