Air Force falls to UNLV in MW action

UNLV defeated Air Force, 4-0, Sunday afternoon in a Mountain West men's tennis match at the Cadet Gymnasium Outdoor Tennis Courts at the Academy.
The Rebels won the doubles point with wins at No. 1 and 2 to open the match. Lucas Fumagalli and Mack Galvin were leading 5-3 at No. 3 when the point was clinched. UNLV picked up wins at No. 1, 2 and 4 singles to complete the sweep. Fumagalli split a pair of sets at No. 3 singles and was headed to a third when the match ended.
Air Force falls to 7-15 overall and 1-5 in conference play. The Falcons return to action next weekend to close out the regular season. Air Force hosts Nebraska-Omaha Friday, April 21, at 2 p.m. and close out conference play by hosting New Mexico on Saturday, April 22, at 3 p.m.
