Second annual Night of Excellence a success

Photo Gallery Aug. 15, 2017 The Air Force Academy Athletic Corporation (AFAAC) hosted the second annual "A Night of Excellence", presented by First Command Financial Services, on Saturday, August 12, at the Cheyenne Mountain Resort in Colorado Springs, and kicked off the 2017-18 Air Force athletic year.
"A Night of Excellence" brought together supporters to celebrate another year of Air Force Athletics' achievement and progress. The event raised $135,000 with all proceeds going directly to the Air Force Academy's Excellence Fund which supports cadet-athletes, equipment and travel.
"Our Night of Excellence event once, again, was a tremendous success benefitting our exceptional cadet-athletes," Dr. Nancy Hixson, chief executive officer of the Air Force Academy Athletic Corporation, said. "We are all so thankful for the continued support shown by our donor community. Events like ‘A Night of Excellence' help us raise the bar for our cadets and our Academy."
