Air Force Hosts McNeese In Home-Opener
After four straight matches to start the season on the road, Air Force gets to play its first home match on Parent's Weekend Friday night, Sept. 1. The Falcons host McNeese State University in the second game of a doubleheader with the USAFA men's team. Kickoff is slated for 7:30 pm MT. Free video stream and stats will be available for the match.
Last Weekend
Air Force went 1-1 at the Montana Cup in Missoula, Mont., last weekend. The Falcons lost 2-0 to host Montana on Friday and rallied to defeated Eastern Washington 3-1 on Sunday. Kaitlyn Cook, Kristen Shimkus and Erin Speer scored goals for the Falcons.
- It was the first-career goals for Shimkus and Speer.
- The Falcons started four freshman against Eastern Washington.
- The three goals vs. EWU were the most in their last 20 matches and the most since Sept. 16, 2016, a 3-1 win over Northern Arizona.
