Men's Diving Concludes Action at Lumberjack Diving Invite

Sophomore Cole Armagost finished with two more top-3 dives
FLAGSTAFF, Ariz. -- The Air Force Academy men's diving team wrapped up action at the Lumberjack Diving Invitational Sunday, Nov. 18, at Northern Arizona's Aquatic Complex. The Falcons competed alongside the University of Arizona in the 3-meter and platform dives over the final two days of competition.
In the 3-meter, which was contested Saturday, Nov. 17, sophomore Cole Armagost finished third with a cumulative score of 578.70. He had a prelim score of 249.50, before going for a 329.20 in the finals. Finishing behind Armagost were freshman Jack Macceca, sophomore Jack Zocher, freshman Noah Bettner, and junior Patrick Lagator in fourth through seventh.
On the platform, there were no prelim scores, just the final six dives. Armagost took second with a 218.85, while Zocher and Macceca took third and fourth, respectively.
The Falcon divers will be back in action, Nov. 30-Dec. 1 for the Utah Diving Invitational. Action in Salt Lake City will begin at 10 a.m. MT each day.
