CBU comes from behind for 10-7 win over Falcons

Air Force faces Claremont Mudd Scripps on Sunday, Nov. 4
RIVERSIDE, Calif. – Cal Baptist scored six unanswered goals for a come-from-behind 10-7 win over Air Force in a Western Water Polo Association game, Saturday, Nov. 3, in Riverside, Calif.
After the Lancers opened the scoring, the Falcons took a 3-1 lead on goals by Edward Smet, Reagan Pittman and Campbell Harris. CBU scored two goals early in the second quarter to tie the game at 3-3. Smet's second of the game came at 3:57 of the second quarter to give the Falcons a 4-3 lead. The Lancers then scored two late in the second for a 5-4 lead at the half.
The Lancers outscored the Falcons, 2-0, in the third quarter for a 7-4 lead entering the fourth quarter. CBU scored two goals early in the fourth for a 9-4 advantage. Luke Andres and Gavin Jones scored late in the fourth as the Falcons cut the Lancer lead to 9-6, but did not get any closer.
Air Force (7-15 overall, 3-4 WWPA) faces Claremont Mudd Scripps, in a non-conference game Sunday, Nov. 4, at noon PT.
