Men's Tennis Falls at San Diego State

SAN DIEGO, Calif. - Air Force fell to San Diego State, 4-0, in Mountain West Conference action at the Aztec Tennis Center, Sunday afternoon, in San Diego. Air Force falls to 10-12 as the squad returns to the hoe courts for a pair of conference matches next weekend.
The Aztecs were the first to light up the scoreboard with wins in the No. 1 and No. 2 doubles positions, securing the team point moving into singles action. Jamie Bautista and Paul Hendrix, who are 7-2 while playing in the No. 3 position, held the advantage over Regtifo and Hough, 5-4, as the team point was clinched. The duo did not finish.
San Diego State continued its roll into singles, posting three straight-set wins at positions one, two and six to seal the deal in favor of the Aztecs. Luke Sanderson and Sean McKendree were engaged in a dog fights at positions No. 3 and No. 5, respectively, leading their opponents in the third set as the match point was clinched. Paul Hendrix, who leads the team with 13 dual meet wins, was unable to complete his match at position No. 4.
Air Force continues MWC action as the Falcons return home for a pair of matches against Boise State and Utah State, Apr. 13, at 2 p.m., and Apr. 15, at noon, respectively.
