
Women's Swimming & Diving Falls to Colorado State in Dual Action

The Falcons had a pair of season-best dives in the 3-meter
FORT COLLINS, Colo. – The Air Force Academy women's swimming and diving team fell in Mountain West Conference dual action at Colorado State, 175-125, Saturday afternoon, Jan. 19.
The Rams controlled the meet from start to finish, taking gold in all 14 of 16 events contested. The Falcons had season best scores from a couple of its divers on the 3-meter.
On the 3-meter, junior Kayla Wofford took second with a season best 270.98. Right behind her in third was fellow junior Eve Fowler as she achieved a season-best score of 266.93.
Air Force's event wins came in the 200 IM, as senior Emma Strom touched in with a 2:14.12. The other was in the 400 free relay, as AF clocked in with a 3:37.70.
The Falcons will be back in action next weekend, Jan. 26, when they had back to California to take on both Cal Baptist and Pepperdine. Action from Malibu is set for a 12 p.m. MT start time.
