Falcons place 14th at Oregon State Invitational

CORVALLIS, Ore. – The Air Force golf team shot its best round of the Oregon State Invitational on the final day, Tuesday, Oct. 15, at the Trysting Tree Golf Club in Corvallis, Ore.

With a 296 on the final day, the Falcons placed 14^th with a team score of 901. The Falcons finished eight strokes ahead of California Baptist and one behind Idaho.

The host school, Oregon State, won the tournament with a team score of 834. The Beavers were the only team under par. San Francisco was second, followed by Utah, Arizona and Boise State.

Senior Joseph Crisostomo led the Falcons with a two-under-par 70, the best round by a Falcon in the tournament. The 70 also tied his best round of the season as he made five birdies on the final day. Crisostomo tied for 19^th overall in the 54-hole tournament with a 217 (+1).

Sophomore Luke Trujillo shot a 227, senior Anson Kuznik was at 230, sophomore Jonathan Farmer came in at 231 and Josh Wu at 233.

Air Force returns to action at the Les Fowler Invitational, Monday, Oct. 21, in Boulder, Colo.
