Bailey Keith Named Mountain West Offensive Player of the Week

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – Air Force volleyball sophomore Bailey Keith (Waco, Texas) was named the Mountain West Offensive Player of the Week, the conference office announced this morning (Oct. 21). It is the first weekly award for Keith, who helped the Falcons go 2-0 in conference action last week.

Keith led the team in kills (30) and hitting (.410) during last week's conference wins over Fresno State and San Diego State. She collected a career-high 18 kills on .485 hitting (18k-2e-33a) during the Falcons' four-set win over the Bulldogs on Oct. 17 and followed that up with a 12-kill, .321 performance (12k-3e-28a) in Air Force's five-set comeback win over the Aztecs on Oct. 19.

The sophomore helped the Falcons improve to 4-4 in Mountain West action – the program's best start to a conference season ever at the Division I level. The Falcons return to action this weekend, when they close out the first half of the conference season at UNLV on Thursday, Oct. 24, and at New Mexico on Saturday, Oct. 26.
