Air Force Men’s Tennis Completes Day Two At Idaho State Invite

Air Force men's tennis completed day two action at the 2019 Idaho State Fall Invitational on Saturday at Reed Gym in Pocatello, Idaho and Capell Park in Chubbuck, Idaho. In singles competition, the Falcons had six wins on the day, with two players making the semifinals in their draws.

Freshman Morgan Ihrig and sophomore Jordan Azuma posted 2-0 days to advance in their draws. In the Orange-B draw, Ihrig defeated Marcos Zelver of Montana State 7-6 (8-6), 6-3 and top seeded Arca Costa of Boise State 2-6, 6-1, 10-4. In the Bengals-C draw, Azuma defeated Kyler Hartman of Idaho State 6-1, 6-2 and three-seed Yohann Prinsen 6-2, 6-3.

Senior Mack Galvin earned a win in the Black-A back draw over Michiel Van School or Weber State. Freshman Denali Kitayama also won his opening match in the Orange draw over Josh Watkins of Montana 6-4, 7-5.

Final day action takes place tomorrow.
