
Air Force Downed By Indiana State At Junkanoo Jam

BIMINI, Bahamas - Air Force men's basketball dropped a 84-74 contest to Indiana State Sunday afternoon at the Junkanoo Jam at Gateway Christian Academy in Bimini, Bahamas. Senior Caleb Morris led the Falcons with 18 points.
Indiana State shot 57.7 percent from three point range, making 15 of 26 attempts. Tyreke Key scored 26 points to lead the Sycamores.
The Falcons struggled to find its offense early and found themselves down by as many as 12 points in the first half. A late run closed the gap to seven, as Air Force trailed 38-31 at the break.
Indiana State did not let up with the three's, making four within five minutes to start the second half to pull away. The Falcons had another late-game rally and pulled to within eight points with seven minutes to go. A 17-2 run got the game into single digits
Indiana State again knocked down a pair of three's right after and held off the late charge.
Morris was one point shy of his career-high making 5 of 9 from the field and 4 of 7 from three point range. Ryan Swan scored a season-high 17 points and Chris Joyce and AJ Walker chipped in with 11 points each. Abe Kinrade added four points and five rebounds off the bench.
Air Force shot 44.6 percent from the field and 26.1 percent from three point range. The Falcons got to the free throw line 26 times, making 18.
Air Force is off the rest of the month. Its next game is Sunday, Dec. 1, hosting Jackson State for a 2 pm MT game at Clune Arena.
