The Air Force football team is nationally ranked for the first time since 2010, ranking 25th in both national polls this week. The Falcons are 25th in the Associated Press poll with 65 points and 25th in the USA Today Coaches poll with 129 points. Air Force is ranked for the first time since the week of Oct. 16 in 2010 when the program was ranked 23rd in each poll.
Air Force completed the regular season with a 10-2 overall record. The Falcons finished second in the Mountain West Mountain Division with a 7-1 mark. The Falcons have a seven-game winning streak, the program's longest in one season since 1998 when the team won eight straight. The seven-game winning streak is tied as the seventh longest overall in program history.
