Diving Concludes Day One of the Air Force Invite

The Falcons competed in the 3-meter dive
USAFA, Colo. – The Air Force Academy men's and women's diving team wrapped day one of the 2019 Air Force Diving Invitational Friday afternoon, Feb. 1, at the Cadet Natatorium. The Falcons competed in the 3-meter dive on day one of the invite.
The top finisher for the men was freshman Jack Macceca, who took 13th place with a 266.10, just missing out on the top 12 who competed for the championship on the 3-meter. Juniors Patrick Lagator and Kevin LeCours, as well as freshman Noah Bettner rounded out the AFA divers with 19-21 place finishes.
For the women, freshman Cristin von Schlag was the top finisher for Air Force, taking 14th with a season-best 242.70, good for 14th place. Just behind her was junior Kayla Wofford with a 242.50. Also competing in the 3-meter was sophomore Emily Munn, who scored a 159.35.
The Air Force Diving Invitational will conclude tomorrow afternoon, Feb. 2, with the platform event. Start time from Cadet Natatorium is set for 9 a.m.
