Oosterhous Earns 100th Win as Men’s Tennis Defeats Southern Utah, 4-3

Air Force men's tennis (9-5) defeated Southern Utah (7-3) 4-3 in a non-conference dual Sunday at Lifetime Fitness in Henderson, Nev. Head coach Dan Oosterhous picked up his 100th career win for the Falcons. He became just the second men's tennis coach at Air Force to surpass 100 career wins.

Due to inclement weather, the dual was moved from Cedar City, Utah to Henderson, a suburb of Las Vegas.

After dropping the doubles point, the Falcons rallied back by going 4-2 in singles play.

The Falcons were swept in doubles. Patrick Sklenka and Tadgh Collins fell at No. doubles to Jonathan Morales and Juan Erro 7-5. Paul Hendrix and Robert Baylon lost at No. 2 doubles to Agustin Tmagnone/Salvador Mijares 6-4. Isaac Perez and Jordan Azuma fell at No. 3 to Remus Cope/Keonho Shin 6-4.

Sklenka fell at No. 1 singles to Mijares 6-4, 5-7, 6-4. The Falcons would then win the No. 2-5 singles to take the match.

Luke Sanderson won at No. 2 singles over Shin, 6-3, 6-2. Hendrix won at No. 3 over Morales 7-5, 6-4. Collins won at No. 4 over Tamagnone 7-6, 7-5. Baylon won at No. 5 over Erro 6-4, 6-4. James Scotty fell at No. 6 to Cope 6-2, 6-1.

Air Force returns to action March 8 at Creighton.
