Air Force Men’s Tennis Downed By Creighton, 4-3

Air Force men's tennis fell to Creighton 4-3 in a non-conference dual Friday at the Hanscom Tennis Center in Omaha, Neb. The Falcons dropped to 9-6 on the season.
The Falcons were unable to hold onto a 3-2 lead, as Creighton rallied back by winning the final two singles matches on the day.
Air Force earned the doubles point with wins at No. 2 and No. 3. After Tadhg Collins and Patrick Sklenka dropped the No. 1 doubles match 6-2, Isaac Perez and Jamie Bautista won at No. 2, 6-3 and Paul Hendrix and Robert Baylon won at No. 3, 6-4.
The Falcons opened singles play with a pair of losses at No. 6 and No. 1. Isaac Perez fell at No. 6 singles to Mac Mease 6-4, 6-2 and Sklenka fell at No. 1 to Nick Campbell 7-5, 6-4.
The Falcons won in straight sets at No. 3 and 4 singles to take the 3-2 lead. Paul Hendrix won at No. 3 over Armando Gandini 6-4, 6-3 and Collins won at No. 4 over Daniel Lopez-Rey 6-4, 7-5.
But Creighton rallied with wins at No. 2 and 5 singles to pull out the win. Luke Sanderson fell at No. 2 to Stratton Brown 3-6, 7-6 (7-5), 6-2 and Robert Baylon fell at No. 5 to Jose Oscar Diaz 7-6 (10-8), 5-7, 6-4.
Air Force returns to action March 10 at Omaha.
